Itโs quite possible we were craving movie theatre candy when we named this fabric. We couldn't resist because its bright red base with dollops of white added in is just what your dog needs to be "red carpet readyโ.
This fabric was hand-woven in Nahualรก, which is in the Sololรก Department of Guatemala. It is situated in the mountainside overlooking Lake Atitlรกn. Nearly the entire population is ethnic K'iche' Maya who speak the K'iche' language. Using a traditional wooden pedal loom, Manuel Ixmataโ and his team of friends and family start with 100% cotton, use dye to create their thread colors, and then weave it into this amazing fabric!
